Theatrical Director and Dramaturge

Caroline Egler

I am a California native with a master’s degree in Shakespeare and a love of ensemble-driven, colorful, and musical work.

My work is immersive, representative, and colorful. I am drawn to parallels with the natural world, blending technical and movement elements to draw the audience into a play's depths.

In the rehearsal room, I strive to build spaces through collaboration and evolution. The work of each day is to uncover the text and movement a little further, unfolding a unique creation in an unpredictable, oblong way.

I am dedicated to the use of identity-conscious casting and hiring, ensuring the promotion of diverse staging in classical and new works alike.
